Talk About it Tuesday: Launching Death TV club next week

Talk About It Tuesdays will be a discussion group for a Death TV club – like a book club, but for television shows. A lot of television shows tackle death and death-adjacent topics. This club will watch these shows that explore some complicated and sensitive topics and discuss them together. The discussions will provide a safe space to talk about matters related to death, dying, and grief. Discussing these topics surrounded by the comfiness of pop culture and entertainment can help alleviate some of the dread about these topics and lead to healing and relief of death anxiety. While it has long been proven that planning and preparing for death contributes to a more peaceful and “good” death, talking about death can also help us live a better life.

Join me and others to talk about our first series, Dead Like Me, on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. EDT. We will be discussing Season 1, Episode 1: Pilot at our next club meeting. The show is available at Amazon Prime Video if you subscribe. It is also available on Tubi TV, a free (ad-supported) streaming app. Watch any time before 7:00, Tuesday the 20th.

So, grab a cup of tea, coffee or cocktail and feel free to share your thoughts about the show and its themes and messages with no fear of judgement. All meetings will be held virtually on Zoom. Register at the link below to get the meeting link.
